Same Powerful Software, Now with Clearer Tier Names

If you’re a current CIMS user, the software, features, and user experience are not changing.

What is changing is how we describe our software tiers.

• CIMS Light is now CIMS Core
• CIMS Gold is now CIMS Plus
• CIMS Platinum is now CIMS Professional

This is a name change only. The software you rely on every day will continue to function exactly as it does today—no disruptions, no feature changes, and no required action on your part.

Why the Change?

We’ve heard from both current users and prospective clients that our previous tier names didn’t always clearly communicate what each option provided. As part of our ongoing commitment to clarity and usability, we’ve updated our tier names to better reflect what you can expect from each level of CIMS.

The new names are:

• More intuitive and descriptive
• Easier to understand at a glance
• Consistent with how modern software solutions are organized

Ultimately, this change makes it easier for both current and future clients to confidently choose the right solution for their needs.

A New Website, Designed for Usability

Alongside these updated tier names, we’re also launching a new and improved CIMS website. This redesign is focused on making it easier for you to:

• Explore CIMS features and capabilities
• Understand the differences between tiers
• Find helpful resources and information quickly

For those already familiar with CIMS, the new site offers a clearer, more streamlined way to navigate what you already know. For those discovering CIMS for the first time, it provides a more intuitive introduction to our software and services.

What This Means for You

We know many of our users have worked with CIMS for years, and we want to be clear:

• Nothing about your current system is changing
• Your data, workflows, and features remain exactly the same
• Only the tier names have been updated

You will start to see the new names—Core, Plus, and Professional—across our website, communications, and within CIMS itself. Over time, these names will fully replace Light, Gold, and Platinum.

These updates are part of our larger effort to continue improving how we serve cemeteries across the country through both powerful software and clearer communication. Our goal is to ensure this transition is simple, straightforward, and easy to recognize.
